Every time I try to call I get cut off

I used their site to try booking accommodation at a certain city in Canada 9 months out. A property came up without showing the distance from my requested location, as hotels normally do.
Assuming that it was nearby, I booked it. A few days later when working out the logistics of my vacation I checked and realized the place I booked was 7-8 hours drive away. I contacted II and had several exchanges explaining my situation, even asking to either change the dates or allow me to use the money as credit to another booking.
They refused to make any concession. The impression I got from them was "tough luck, you can go to *** Never mind the booking date is still 7 months away.

Question on exchange
My question is did anyone have issues getting out of there pre-existing Time Share when the switched to Internal International?
Furious@ 8 weeks we pay trading fees on + yearly maintenance fees/All units = GODAWFUL SERVICE
67 minutes and 73 seconds: That's how long Interval took today for us to find out why we had still not merged our two accounts. NO supervisors ANYWHERE during business hours.
I finally LOOKED UP CORPORATE # online to get to someone! Who actually sent me to another person - SNARKY SUPERCILIOUS "Dulce" who could give me an answer! Every time I got transferred to the "Right place" or "My Supervisor" I ended up at the BACK OF THE QUEUE AGAIN and NOT to someone who had gotten me as a transfer call.
These guys even get ETRADE fees from me on all our trades. And this is the way we get treated - like dog dirt?
for anything I cannot get done by myself online? Oh, wait!
There IS one time a year they are efficvient online: When you HAVE TO CALL TO DEPOSIT - then they are plenty effiecient!
With all the BAD PUBLICITY ON TIME SHARES they should treat us a VALUED CUSTOMERS. EVERY TIME.
